Exol celebrates at Birmingham Post Business Awards
Exol Lubricants, the UK’s largest independently owned oil blender, has been highly commended at the 2015 Birmingham Post Business Awards in the categories of manufacturing business and export business of the year.
The award ceremony hosted 650 people at the ICC in Birmingham in November, celebrating fast-growing, local companies in the West Midlands.
The event proved a huge success, with Adil Ray – star of BBC hit sitcom Citizen Kahn – keeping the attendees entertained, ensuring the event was a thoroughly enjoyable night for all.
Thanks to generous donations, the awards evening raised over £5000 for military charity Fisher House, exceeding figures raised during all previous events.
Exol has enhanced its reputation as a successful supplier and exporter in a number of sectors throughout 2015, building long-term partnerships with customers and winning work overseas.
Steve Dunn, Exol Lubricants sales director, said: “It is great for our hard work to be recognised in the local area. Being highly commended is a credit to the Exol team at Wednesbury and our sites in Hull and Rotherham. We’ve heavily invested in the local community, buying from local suppliers where possible, to ensure we provide the best products and services to customers at home and abroad.”
Birmingham Post is part of Trinity Mirror which is one of the largest multimedia publishers in the UK and Ireland, winning a portfolio of media brands.
