Exol-sponsored Giles Trust Charity Golf Day hailed success
Exol Lubricants continued its charitable endeavours by sponsoring and attending The Giles Trust Charity Golf Day at the end of July, to help raise funds for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The total amount raised for The Giles Trust was a very impressive £10,430, which will allow the charity to continue funding its important work.
Droitwich Golf Club hosted the golfing event, with 22 teams taking part. Tee off began at 2pm and after each team had played the course, a three-course meal followed, along with a prize-giving ceremony, raffle and silent auction.
The Giles Trust was founded, and is supported, by Stine Giles and England cricketer Ashley Giles, to raise money to fund vital brain tumour research at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
Exol-sponsored ex-Worcester Warriors full-back Chris Pennell was also seen on the course taking part in the event.
Prizes in the auction included a signed Lewis Hamilton cap, signed England cricket shirt, UK holiday breaks, beer from a local brewery and much more.
