Exol twice finalists at SHD logistics awards
Exol Lubricants has made it to the final of two awards at the SHD logistics awards, held on 19 March at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
The lubricants blender is shortlisted in the Operations (SME) and Environment / Sustainability award categories, up against household names and their logistic partners such as DHL and House of Fraser and Sainsbury’s with Schoeller Allibert to name but two.
The SHD Logistics awards recognise excellence within the logistics industry – the benchmark for outstanding performance throughout the UK. The awards focus on the contribution of individuals, projects, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of logistics in the past 12 months.
More than 300 will attend the event bringing together the logistics industry’s leading players for the biggest night of the year.
Steve Dunn, Exol sales director, said: “To reach the final is a tremendous achievement and really celebrates our recent £1.5million investment in our own fleet of vehicles, which is one of the most efficient on UK roads. This, combined with our effective use of the waterways to transport raw materials, warrants our entries into the operations and environment awards.”
