FA Cup heroes Kidderminster Harriers receive Exol support
Exol Lubricants, the UK’s largest independent lubricants company, has joined forces with National League North side Kidderminster Harriers football club, which will see the lubricant specialist’s branding appear across the team’s Aggborough stadium.
The new sponsorship deal is the latest move by the business to support local teams, following a similar sponsorship deal at nearby rugby union side Worcester Warriors’ Sixways ground.
Exol Lubricants, with facilities at both Wednesbury, West Midlands and Rotherham, fully integrates itself in its local communities with a series of sponsorship agreements and charitable fund-raising events.
Steve Everitt, group managing director of Exol Lubricants, said: “Exol’s alignment with both professional and grass roots sports in recent years has been massively rewarding for everyone involved. It’s an exciting time to be part of the Harriers’ journey, especially with the FA Cup run, and with our support we’re looking forward to seeing the club go from strength to strength.”
Kidderminster Harriers play in the sixth division of English football in the National League North, but are currently enjoying an amazing run in the FA Cup, which will see them host Premier League side West Ham in the fourth round on February 5th.
The BBC will show the FA Cup fourth-round tie between Kidderminster Harriers and West Ham United live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Exol branding features both in the dugouts and pitch side so will receive widespread attention for the remainder of the season.
Kidderminster, the lowest ranked team left, recently defeated Reading in the third round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory at the Aggborough ground, which plays host to a crowd of well over 6000.
