More than £11K raised in Exol sponsored Chemodex golf day
Exol Lubricants was the main sponsor for the second year in succession at the Chemodex Charity Golf Day, which raised more than £11,000 for the Ashgate Hospice, Chesterfield.
The golf event, alongside a charity bike ride, included a prize raffle and secret auction.
Chemodex begun a joint venture sponsoring Clive Harvey as he cycled the length of the UK from Lands End to John O’Groates, all in aid of Ashgate Hospice. Chemodex provided the support vehicles for Clive as he tackled his journey of approximately 1000 miles.
Steve Dunn, Exol sales director, said: “It was great to once again be supporting the Chemodex Charity Golf Day as they raised more than £10K for the Ashgate Hospice Chesterfield. The event was a fantastic experience for all those attending and we are delighted to be main sponsor for the second year in a row.”
Worksop Golf Club was founded as a private golf club in 1914. The course is regarded as one of the outstanding courses of the area in both difficulty & quality. It has a long tradition of providing the base for world classgolfers including Lee Westwood, Mark Foster, Maurice Bembridge, and David Snell.
