Strengthening Partnerships: Exol’s Visit to Azerbaijan

As part of our export strategy, we aim to visit our customers across the globe regularly to continue to offer excellent customer service and technical support, whilst identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships.

Exol’s Simon Matthews and Paul Eastwood had the pleasure of meeting with Exol Azerbaijan’s, Sanan Abdullayev and Elchin Abdullayev earlier this year.

Over two days, they teamed up with AzerEnerji to support their vital engine oil supply, which powers Azerbaijan’s energy sector. The visit, covering over 1000km across Baku and beyond, included tours of AzerEnerji’s central laboratory and several power plants.

Sanan Abdullayev emphasised the significance of the trip, he said: “Our visit to AzerEnerji helps to support our business going forward by providing valuable insights and fostering stronger relationships with the team.”

Simon Matthews added, “From these trips, we can benefit from enhanced recommendations gained from eyes on the job. Plus, it’s great to be able to put faces to names to strengthen our relationships!”

The visit also identified new opportunities, such as supplying turbine oil and lubricants for AzerEnerji’s fleet. Regular visits between Exol UK and ExolAzerbaijan are essential for discovering new opportunities and strengthening our partnerships.” Continued Matthews.
